Three community information sessions are being held in Cardinia Shire in advance of the roll out of the NDIS on 1 September 2018.  Run by the NDIA, the organisation responsible for overseeing the delivery of the NDIS, these information sessions are designed to assist people with disability, as well as their families and carers, get ready for the National Disability Insurance Scheme.

The sessions will cover topics such as:

  • What is the NDIS and how does it work?
  • What kind of support can I access through the NDIS?
  • Accessing the NDIS
  • The roll out of NDIS in the Southern Melbourne

The sessions will be delivered in partnership with the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), and Cardinia‚Äôs Local Area Coordinator. This is an opportunity for you to bring your questions along and have them answered by NDIA team members.
