Alfred Health Carer Services recognises that many carers are seeking information about how the National Disability Insurance Scheme will affect them.
As a result, we have invited Carers Victoria to provide four separate information sessions throughout our region, designed to answer your questions including:
What is the NDIS?
How will things differ from the current system?
Who is eligible for support?
What does it mean for carers?
Where to now; what can you do
Each session will be two hours in duration and will allow enough time for you to ask questions. The same information will be repeated at each, so you only need to book into one session.
Who should attend? Carers, family members and friends who are caring for a person with a disability or supporting a person experiencing mental illness.
We may be able to assist with respite, transport and interpreters if required. Please make this request when booking.
REFRESHMENTS A light morning or afternoon tea will be provided. Please advise of any dietary requirements when booking.
BOOK NOW Book now for one session only by calling 8781 3400. Or book online at www.carersouth.org.au. You'll find all carer workshops under Who do you care for? on our website. Places are limited
